What We Do
Elevating art workshops with the power of STEAM, where creativity meets curiosity! We proudly work with kindergartens, childcare centres, OSHC programs, and early learning services across Queensland.
Meet our Artist
Hi, I’m Michelle, Artist for STEAM Arts QLD. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Queensland College of Art, where I majored in printmaking, and I bring over 10 years of experience working in education settings. I’m passionate about delivering engaging, hands-on workshops that spark curiosity and creativity in young learners. With a flexible, energetic, and adaptable approach, I tailor each session to suit the needs of your centre and complement your learning themes.

Why STEAM?
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. When you add the arts, it becomes STEAM. Many schools are now using STEAM to help kids learn in more creative and engaging ways. Experts say the arts can boost imagination, motivation, and creative thinking—helping students succeed in STEM subjects and come up with new ideas.
Workshops
Our workshops are led by a professional artist and designed by a PHD Plant Scientist. We aim to inspire creativity while exploring STEAM concepts through art. With a strong focus on nature and sustainability, each session encourages hands-on learning, curiosity, and creative thinking. All materials are provided, making it easy for centres to enjoy engaging, mess-free experiences that connect art, science, and the natural world.
